Indium is a metal that exhibits softness, ductility, malleability, metallic lustre, and a low melting point as demonstrated by standard measurements. Elemental analysis shows that indium’s composition deviates by less than 10% from Gallium. Laboratory tests confirm that both metals wet glass surfaces.
