Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) is a global supplier of a range of pure metals, alloys, ceramics and minerals, such as oxides, chlorides, sulphides and oxysalts. Our headquarters was established in 1994 in Santa Ana, California, USA. It supplies rare‐earth products for research and development purposes. To meet the growing demand for rare‐earth products and other materials, we increased both the variety and the range of our offerings. We serve our R&D customers and subsequent manufacturers in the ceramics, metallurgy, electronics and aerospace industries. We have established an online ordering platform at www.stanfordmaterials.com to enable customers to learn about us, contact us and order products conveniently. After almost two decades of development, our annual revenue in 2007 exceeded 10 000 000 USD. Three years later, we opened a second branch to expand our business to other emerging countries. SAM now specialises in ultra‐pure chemicals (up to 99.99999%) for research institutions and technical materials for advanced industries.
To address our growing operations, we have launched a new and improved website at www.samaterials.de . With an additional focus on the materials tantalum and niobium, we process refractory and superhard metals. Our product range for these elements comprises blocks, films, sheets, tubes, rods, wires, grids, crucibles and flanges made from pure elements and alloys. We also supply compounds of tantalum and niobium, including oxides, carbides, chlorides, ethoxides and oxysalts. These materials are fully customisable and comply with recognised standards. Our principal customers are from the pharmaceutical, capacitor, metallurgy, semiconductor and aerospace industries. We aim to apply our products in additional fields and welcome business partners worldwide.
Another website launched by SAM, www.sputtertargets.net, marks the second step in SAM's online sales. It offers an expanded range of dependable sputter targets for coating and thin‐film deposition at competitive prices. The sputter targets include pure metals and alloys such as noble metals, rare‐earth metals, refractory metals and semiconductors. They also cover ceramics such as oxides, nitrides, carbides, fluorides, silicides and sulphides. We provide a customised service to meet specific requirements, including diversified shaping, Target-Bonding and Materialrecycling of Sputtertargets.
