Write For Us

Write for us

Are you knowledgeable about modern materials, metals and alloys, rare earth elements or high-performance ceramics? Join our network to share precise technical insights with engineers, scientists and industry procurement specialists worldwide.

We at Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) welcome submissions that present meticulously researched content to assist professionals in making evidence-based decisions and maintaining current knowledge in material science.

What We Are Looking For

We invite original submissions that offer clear insights into the field of advanced materials. Your content should be distinct and provide a tangible benefit, for example by including a data-driven analysis, a practical application or a technical perspective.

You may submit a complete draft, a partial outline or a brief summary (1–2 paragraphs outlining your topic and its significance for our audience). A more complete submission facilitates our review and evaluation.

Topics of Interest

We are particularly interested in content related to the following topics:

  • Materials derived from rare earth elements
  • High-performance ceramics and high-purity metals
  • Thin-film deposition (PVD, CVD, sputter targets)
  • Technical applications of materials in energy, aerospace, semiconductors or electronics

Other technical or application-based subjects related to modern materials are also considered.

Submission Guidelines

We accept submissions that meet the following criteria:

  • Language: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian or Japanese. Articles will be published on the corresponding SAM website.
  • Length: 1 000–3 000 words
  • Format: research papers, case studies, blog posts, technical guides or industry commentary
  • Links: Up to 3 outbound links to relevant, high-quality sources
  • Revisions: For updates to existing SAM content, please provide the URL and your proposed changes.

All submissions must be original, clearly structured and professionally written. Published articles include author credits and may include a link to your website or LinkedIn profile.

Review Process & Publication

We endeavour to review most submissions within 5 working days. If your article is accepted, it will be published on the relevant language version of our website and you will receive a confirmation email.

Due to the volume of submissions, we may not be able to respond to every declined entry.

How to Submit

Please use our submission form to upload your draft, proposal or outline. The more details you provide, the better we can assess your idea.
