Antimony

Antimony (Sb) is a semi-metallic element with the atomic number 51 and an atomic weight of 121.760. It exists in two distinct forms: a stable metallic form and a non-metallic form. The metallic antimony is bright, silver-white, hard, and brittle, while the non-metallic antimony appears as a grey powder. Antimony plays a vital role in various industries, primarily as an alloying material and in the production of flame-proofing materials and other compounds.
