Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) supplies indium sulphide powder and a range of indium products. The portfolio encompasses pure metal and compounds.
Elemental or metallic forms include pellets, wires and granules used as evaporation source materials. Indium oxide is available in the form of powders and dense pellets for applications such as optical coatings and thin film processes. Oxides are typically insoluble. Indium fluoride is another insoluble form used in processes where oxygen is undesirable, for example in metallurgy, chemical and physical gas phase deposition and in certain optical coatings. Indium is available in soluble forms, including chlorides, nitrates and acetates. These compounds are also prepared as solutions with specific stoichiometries.
Indium is available as a metal and as compounds with purity levels ranging from 99% to 99.9999% (ACS grade to highest purity). Materials include metals in the form of foils, sputter targets and rods, as well as compounds such as submicron and nanopowders. Highly pure (99.99999%) indium sputtering targets are available. Indium is also used in a variety of metal alloys.
Indium Metal: Pure indium metal, with a low melting point, high ductility and measured thermal and electrical conductivity, is used in soldering materials, thermal interface materials and specialised alloys. It is applied in electronics, aerospace and energy engineering.
Indium Oxides: Indium oxides are used in transparent conductive coatings, gas sensors and catalysts. They offer a combination of electrical conductivity and optical transparency, which is utilised in displays, touchscreens and optoelectronic applications.
Indium Alloys: Indium alloys are formulated to improve attributes such as solderability, low-temperature bonding and thermal management. They are used as components in electronic assemblies, aerospace systems and medical devices.
Indium Compounds for Semiconductors: Indium compounds designed for semiconductor applications are used in practice. They play a central role in the manufacture of advanced semiconductors, photovoltaic cells and LED components.
High-level innovation: Indium and its compounds contribute to developments in electronics, renewable energy and related sectors.
Precise performance: Our indium products are developed to stringent standards and display reliability, consistency and measured performance.
Enhanced efficiency: Indium-based materials optimise thermal management, electrical conductivity and bonding in critical applications.
Sustainability: Indium is a recyclable and environmentally friendly material that complies with sustainable manufacturing practices.
Customised solutions: A range of indium forms, alloys and compounds is available to meet specific application requirements.
