Titanium Tube Description
Titanium tubes (Ti tubes) are standard titanium products. They provide a high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. Generally, titanium tubes are divided into two types: tubes produced without a weld and welded titanium tubes.
Titanium tubes exhibit low weight, meet specified strength criteria and achieve the required mechanical properties. They are used in heat exchangers such as tube bundle heat exchangers, tube coil heat exchangers, coil tube heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and pipelines, thereby fulfilling process requirements.
Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) supplies titanium tubes (Ti Tube). It has over two decades of experience in manufacturing and distribution of titanium products.

Titanium Tube (Non-Welded)
- Outer diameter: 3.18 mm to 50.8 mm
- Wall thickness: 0.6 mm to 1.66 mm
- Length: up to 15 000 mm
Welded Titanium Tube
- Outer diameter: 3.18 mm to 38.1 mm

Titanium Tube Production Methods
Non-welded titanium tube: Extruded tube blanks are cold rolled and annealed.
Welded titanium tube: They are manufactured from titanium strip.

Titanium Tube Applications
1. Aerospace: They are used in aircraft structures, engine components and hydraulic systems because of their high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.
2. Medical: They are used in medical implants such as bone plates, dental implants and surgical instruments because of their biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.
3. Chemical Processing: They are used in chemical reactors, heat exchangers and piping systems owing to resistance to acids and chemicals.
4. Energy Production: They are used in power stations for heat exchangers, condensers and steam turbine components given their high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.
5. Oil and Gas: They are used in offshore drilling platforms, underwater pipelines and refinery installations owing to resistance to corrosion in chemically challenging environments.
6. Automotive: They are used in exhaust systems, hydraulic lines and suspension components because of their low weight and resistance to high temperatures and corrosion.
7. Sports and Leisure: They are used in bicycle frames, golf club shafts and marine equipment owing to their low weight and durability.
8. Architectural Design: They are used in handrails, support beams and structural installations because they meet design specifications.

Packaging and Shipping of Titanium Tubes
Titanium tubes are wrapped in foam and packed in wood crates. This ensures safe storage and transport.
