Germanium Acetate Description
Germanium acetate (CAS: 1112-60-3) of recognised quality can be purchased from Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM). Triethylgermanium acetate is a moderately water‐soluble crystalline source of germanium that decomposes to germanium oxide when heated. It is generally available in most quantities immediately. All metallic acetates are inorganic salts comprising a metal cation and the acetate anion. The acetate anion is a univalent (-1 charge) polyatomic ion composed of two carbon atoms ionically bonded to three hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms (symbol: CH3COO), with an overall formula weight of 59.05. Acetates serve as starting materials for the synthesis of high‐purity compounds, catalysts and nanoscale materials.
We also produce Germanium acetate solution. Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) manufactures this compound in several standard grades, including Mil Spec (military grade), ACS, reagent and technical grade, as well as food, agricultural and pharmaceutical grade, optical grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia), and complies with the applicable ASTM test standards. Typical and customised packaging is available. Additional technical information, safety data (MSDS) and a reference calculator for conversion of relevant units are available.
