Telluric Acid Powder Description
Telluric acid is a chemical compound with the formula Te(OH)6. It is a white solid composed of octahedral Te(OH)6 molecules that exist in aqueous solution. Two structural forms are present, namely rhombohedral and monoclinic; each form contains octahedral Te(OH)6 molecules. Telluric acid is a weak diprotic acid that reacts with strong bases to form tellurate salts, and with weaker bases or during the hydrolysis of tellurates in water to yield tellurium hydrogen salts.

Application of Telluric Acid Powder
Telluric acid functions as an oxidising agent. It is produced in two crystalline forms and as a tetrahydrate through the oxidation of tellurium or tellurium dioxide; in this process, it is also known as orthotelluric acid.
