Zinc oxide is one of the most important zinc compounds. It is produced with a purity exceeding 99% by combusting zinc vapour in ambient air. The synthesis yields diverse crystal forms with sizes ranging from 1 to 50 micrometres. Engineers incorporate zinc oxide into rubber compounds to facilitate heat transfer. The material exhibits a thermal conductivity of 42 W/mK and a heat capacity of 0.5 J/(g·K).

Catalytic Activity: Zinc compounds and catalysts accelerate chemical reactions by reducing the activation energy, thereby facilitating processes that would otherwise proceed slowly or inefficiently.
Diverse Applications: These compounds are used in a wide range of applications, including pharmaceutical synthesis, petrochemical processes, industrial operations and environmental treatment.
Selective Catalysis: Zinc catalysts can exhibit high selectivity, thereby directing reactions to yield designated products while minimising side reactions.
Regeneration Potential: Many zinc catalysts can be regenerated, enabling multiple reaction cycles and reducing overall process costs.
Environmental Impact: Zinc catalysts contribute to sustainable chemical processes by lowering waste and reducing energy consumption.
Pharmaceuticals: Zinc catalysts are utilised in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, supporting the efficient production of vital intermediates and active ingredients.
Petrochemical Industry: Zinc compounds are employed in refining processes such as hydrocracking and isomerisation, consequently increasing the yield of desired products.
Polymers: Zinc catalysts are applied in polymerisation reactions, thereby contributing to the production of plastics, elastomers and speciality polymers.
Environmental Remediation: Zinc compounds are implemented in environmental treatment, for example in wastewater treatment and air purification.
Fine Chemicals: Zinc catalysts facilitate the synthesis of fine chemicals, aroma compounds, fragrances and other specialised compounds.
Our zinc compounds and catalyst products are sourced from established suppliers who adhere to strict quality standards. Each product is subjected to rigorous testing to comply with defined industry requirements.
