Cerium Ammonium Nitrate Description
Cer(IV)-ammonium nitrate ((NH4)2Ce(NO3)6) is a single-electron oxidising agent that is used for oxidative addition reactions of electrophilic radicals to alkenes, thereby enabling the formation of intermolecular and intramolecular carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bonds.

Cerium Ammonium Nitrate Application
Cerium-Ammonium-Nitrate (CAN) is used in the production of chromic acid etchants, which serve as an important corrosion inhibiting agent for microelectronic circuits in LCDs. CAN is also utilised in the manufacture of speciality glass and catalysts. In steels, cerium is employed for detoxification given that it reduces sulphides and oxides, and it is used as a precipitation hardening agent in stainless steel. Cerium alloys are applied in permanent magnets and tungsten electrodes for tungsten arc welding. Furthermore, it is used in carbon-arc lighting, particularly in the film industry.
Cerium Ammonium Nitrate Packaging
Cerium-Ammonium-Nitrate is handled with care during storage and transport to maintain the quality of our product in its original condition.
Packaging:
1) 25 kg net weight per bag, internally lined with dual-layer plastic bags, and externally with a drum (plastic/cardboard/metal), woven bag or kraft bag;
2) 1 000 kg net weight on a plastic or wood pallet.
