Description:
A fluorosurfactant, or fluorinated surfactant, is a surfactant that contains a perfluoroalkyl group. It may be polyfluorinated or based on fluorocarbon (perfluorinated) chemistry. It achieves a low surface tension with a reduced dosage when compared with conventional hydrocarbon or silicone surfactants.
Our nonionic fluorosurfactant is a perfluorosurfactant and is suitable for use in both water-based and oily systems. It achieves a low critical surface tension and maintains high surface activity with minimal active substance. It exhibits measurable wettability, permeability, spreading and leveling, acid and alkali stability, high temperature resistance, chemical stability and confirmed emulsifying properties.

Specifications:
Perfluorinated
75% active material from perfluoroalkyl ester
Storage guidelines: Store unopened at room temperature; the product retains its validity for 24 months from the date of manufacture.
Applications:
The nonionic fluorosurfactant is applied in solder masks, coatings, inks, floor waxes, pesticides, electronic cleaning agents, galvanic treatment formulations and specialised emulsion stabilisers. It has also been used as a chrome plating inhibitor, as an additive in electrolysis cells and as a corrosion inhibitor for metal surfaces.
