Copper Foil Description
Copper is a ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is relatively soft and malleable, and an exposed surface appears pink or peach-coloured.
It is used as a conductor for heat and electricity, as a building material and as a component in various alloys.
Our copper rolls are designed to provide excellent electrical conductivity. This product is available in alloy types 110 and 102, with additional compositions available upon request. The conditions offered are annealed, fully hardened and rolled. These copper foil rolls are suitable for applications including cable sheathing, batteries, solar/alternative energy, printed circuit boards and transformers.

Applications of Copper Foils
- Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs): Copper foil is widely used as a conductive layer in printed circuit boards for a range of electronic devices.
- Electromagnetic Shielding: Given that copper foil blocks and absorbs electromagnetic and high-frequency interference (EMI/RFI), it is used in shielding applications to protect electronic devices, cables and enclosures.
- Batteries: Copper foil is utilised as a current collector in lithium-ion batteries, particularly in the anode design.
- Heat Exchangers and Heat Sinks: The thermal conductivity of copper enables the foil to be employed in heat exchangers and cooling systems.
