Description of Nano-Vanadium Carbide Powder:
Nanometre carburised vanadium carbide powder has a VC content of 62,95, which includes 22% carbon. It is in the form of a metallic powder. The crystallisation follows a cubic sodium chloride system with a lattice constant of 4,182 Å. Its melting point is 2800℃ and its boiling point is 3900℃. It exhibits stable chemical behaviour and high-temperature performance. Consequently, the alloy suppresses grain growth and improves the microstructure of VC. For applications using rare metal carbides in macro-grained mining tools or ultra-fine grain alloys for dowel production, a lower granularity rare metal carbide is chosen. This adjustment increases the proportion of micro-sized carbide and modifies WC granularity. It is expected that the chemical additive will produce a finer dispersion effect.
Our company supplies nano-carburised vanadium carbide powder that achieves granularity at a nanometre level. The increased proportion of the fine phase can enhance the material performance.

Applications of Nano-Vanadium Carbide Powder:
Vanadium carbide is used in iron and steel metallurgy, in hard metals, electronic products, catalysts and high-temperature coating materials. As an additive to steel, vanadium carbide improves wear resistance, corrosion resistance, toughness, strength, ductility, hardness and resistance to thermal fatigue. It is employed as a wear-resistant material in tooling applications. In addition, vanadium carbide has been used as a new catalyst owing to its high activity, selectivity and stability and its capacity to operate in hydrocarbon reactions without catalyst poisoning. Furthermore, vanadium carbide can serve as a new carbon source for the synthesis of diamonds. Its principal role is to act as a grain inhibitor in hard metals and cermets, thereby preventing the growth of WC grains during the sintering process.
Storage Conditions for Nano-Vanadium Carbide Powder:
Nano-vanadium carbide powder should be stored in a dry, cool and sealed environment. It must not be exposed to air. Furthermore, high pressure should be avoided in accordance with standard transport procedures.
Packaging of Nano-Vanadium Carbide Powder:
Our Nano-Vanadium Carbide Powder is clearly labelled externally to ensure efficient identification and quality control. Care has been taken to avoid damage during storage or transit.
