Rhenium Rod Description
Rhenium rods are metal rods composed of rhenium. Rhenium has a melting point of approximately 3 180 °C, which ensures its structural stability in high-temperature environments. It exhibits resistance to corrosion, thereby maintaining its material stability under aggressive chemical conditions. The density of rhenium results in a relatively high mass per unit volume, which benefits certain specialised applications. Additionally, rhenium conducts electrical current effectively and is employed in electronic components to provide reliable conductivity for parts such as resistors and electrodes. The ease of processing of rhenium rods enables them to be formed into various shapes for multiple applications.
