Application Notes

• With its small footprint, low weight, and low energy requirement, it can be easily accommodated in a glove box for shielding samples under inert gas.
• For high vacuum applications (<1e-5 Torr), please select a quartz tube with CF flange.

Warning

• Toxic or explosive gases should not be used with this furnace without necessary safety controls and monitoring. The furnace should ideally be placed in a fume hood for enhanced safety.
• Over an extended period of use, small cracks may develop on the surface of the refractory ceramic. This is a normal occurrence, and the cracks can be repaired with an aluminium oxide coating.
