1700C Large Bench-Top High Temperature Muffle Furnace KAL-1700X-A3 is a high-temperature box furnace featuring silicon carbide bars as heating elements. The furnace has a double-shelled casing structure and a PID programmable temperature control with a type B thermocouple. The furnace chamber consists of high-purity alumina fibre material, allowing it to achieve a maximum temperature of 1700 degrees. It can operate continuously at a temperature of 1600 degrees, with a temperature control accuracy of ±1 degree. The advantages of this furnace include uniform temperature distribution, low surface temperature, and energy efficiency.

Usage Notes	To maintain the longevity of the furnace components, it is recommended that the heating rate does not exceed 10℃ /min. The cooling rate should also not exceed 10℃ /min. This furnace is not vacuum-sealed, and toxic or explosive gases should not be used without necessary safety measures and monitoring. With prolonged use, small cracks may develop on the surface of the refractory ceramic. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks can be repaired with an alumina coating. The refractory block must be installed before closing the door.
