Wolframat is a compound that contains a tungsten oxoanion or exists as a tungsten-containing mixed oxide. The simplest wolframat ion is WO2-4, known as "Orthowolframat".
In chemistry, a wolframat is a compound that contains a tungsten oxoanion or is a tungsten-containing mixed oxide. The simplest wolframat ion is WO2-4, known as "Orthowolframat". Many wolframates belong to a group of polyatomic ions that are termed polyoxometalates (POM). They are classified as isopolyoxometalates because, aside from oxygen and possibly hydrogen, they contain only one additional element. Nearly all utilisable tungsten ores are wolframates.
Sodium wolframat dihydrate (Na2WO4-2H2O) Catalysts: Sodium wolframat dihydrate is used as a catalyst in the chemical industry. It is applied in oxidation reactions, hydrogenations and additional processes. Its use increases reaction efficiency under controlled conditions.
Ammonium parawolframat (APT) Precursor: Ammonium parawolframat is used as a precursor in the production of tungsten metal and tungsten compounds. APT serves as a raw material in the manufacture of various tungsten products.
Barium wolframat (BaWO4) Scintillators: Barium wolframat is employed in scintillation detectors for the measurement of X-rays and gamma rays. It provides a dense material and emits light. This compound supports accurate radiation detection in medical imaging and security screening.
Catalytic Performance: Sodium wolframat dihydrate functions as a catalyst. It facilitates a series of chemical conversions and reactions.
Material Synthesis: Ammonium parawolframat is utilised as a precursor for tungsten metal and tungsten compounds. It supports production processes in various sectors.
Radiation Detection: Barium wolframat scintillators are deployed in detectors for X-rays and gamma rays. They enable precise radiation measurements for medical imaging and security applications.
Reliability: Wolframat products are manufactured with stability and consistency. They maintain performance under demanding conditions.
Adaptability: Various wolframate compounds are available to meet specific application requirements.
