AlB3 Master Alloy Square Rod Description:
AlB3 Master Alloy Square Rods are semi‐finished products that can be manufactured in various forms. They consist of a pre‐alloyed mixture of alloying elements. Depending on the application they are termed modifiers, hardeners or grain refiners. These pre‐alloys are employed in aluminium wrought alloys and casting alloys to adjust the composition and to control the microstructure.
Stanford Advanced Materials supplies a complete range of alloys for the global aluminium industry, including the aluminium–boron pre‐alloy.

AlB3 Master Alloy Square Rod Applications:
AlB3 Master Alloy Square Rod is used to add boron to aluminium and to refine the aluminium grain for electrical applications. It removes Ti, V, Cr and other impurities that diminish conductivity in molten aluminium, thereby improving its performance.
