Description of the Ceramic Fibre Blanket
Ceramic fibres are produced from pure aluminosilicate using a precisely controlled high-temperature melting process. These white, odourless ceramic fibre products are designed for use at temperatures up to 2 300°F (1 260°C). They provide thermal stability and contribute to energy savings by replacing conventional refractory materials such as stone.
Advantages of the Ceramic Fibre Blanket
- Low thermal conductivity
- Chemical stability
- Tensile strength
- Thermal stability and impact resistance
- Sound insulation
