Description of Copper Wire Mesh
The copper wire mesh from Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) provides copper solutions with 99.9 % purity and defined material properties. The copper wire mesh resists atmospheric corrosion in various environments. It is softer than comparable stainless steel wire meshes but demonstrates resistance against atmospheric corrosion. Please note that it is susceptible to oxidising agents such as nitric acid, iron chloride, cyanides and ammonium acid compounds.
Our copper wire mesh is manufactured in compliance with the industry standard ASTM E-2016-11 and comprises 99.9 % pure copper. Under atmospheric conditions, it develops a thin natural green patina that provides additional corrosion protection.
