Titanium-Iron Powder (FeTi70-C) Description

Titanium-Iron Powder (FeTi70-C) is an iron alloy containing 25~75% Titanium and 25~75% Iron. It is primarily used as a deoxidiser and degassing agent in the steel industry. Due to the deoxidising capability of Titanium, FeTi70-C can be employed to reduce segregation in steel ingots or to enhance the quality of steel ingots. In flame steel, ferrosilicon is used for both precipitative deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. The addition of a certain amount of Silicon to steel can increase the strength, hardness, and elasticity of steel, improve the permeability of steel, and reduce the hysteresis loss of transformer steel.
