Nano-Chromium Oxide Powder Description
Nano-Chromium Oxide Powder (CAS: 1308-38-9) is a green powder. Chromium trioxide hydrate, generally known as "Wasserchromgrün", is a violet amorphous crystal or a blue-grey-green gelatinous material. Chromium trioxide is used as a green pigment in printing inks and coatings. In addition, it is applied as a dye in glass, ceramic tiles, ceramic tableware etc. It is used for grinding floor slabs and for polishing surfaces during nickel plating. Chromium trioxide can also be processed into refractory chromium-magnesium or magnesia-chromium stones and is used as a raw material for metallic chromium.

Applications of Nano-Chromium Oxide Powder
Nano-Chromium Oxide Powder is used mainly in specialised steel melt heads, slider openings and large combustion plants. It is used to colour ceramics and enamel, to colour rubber, and for the formulation of high-temperature resistant coatings and art pigments as well as inks for banknotes and securities. The pigment exhibits a colour that falls within the wavelength range of plant chlorophyll; consequently, it is used in camouflage formulations as it is difficult to detect in infrared photography. It is also used in metallurgy, in the manufacture of refractory materials and in powder grinding. Moreover, it is applied as a catalyst in organic synthesis and serves as a green pigment.
