Mikro-Vanadiumkarbid Powder 100 µm Description
Mikro-Vanadiumkarbid (VC) 100 µm is a type of grey metallic powder that exhibits a cubic crystal structure. It demonstrates high wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand high temperatures. Consequently, VC powder is employed in thermal coating methods such as powder welding, oxy‐fuel spraying or cladding, HVOF/HAFA spraying, plasma transferred arc (PTA) cladding, plasma spraying, laser cladding and induction melt cladding. VC powder is utilised in oil extraction, aeronautics and space research, mining, machine-tool production, shipping and other fields. It is used as a hardening material in cutting tools and in the steel industry, as well as an additive for refining WC and cemented carbide crystals to enhance alloy properties.
