Mikro-Vanadiumkarbid (VC)-Pulver 800μm Description
Mikro-Vanadiumkarbid (VC) 800μm is a grey metallic powder with a cubic crystal structure. It exhibits high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and durability at high temperatures. It is used in thermal coating processes such as powder welding, oxy‐fuel spraying and HVOF/HAFA spraying. It is also applied in plasma arc spraying (PTA), plasma spraying, laser cladding and induction melting deposition given that the process requires precision. VC powder is utilised in oil exploration, aerospace, mining, machine tool production, maritime applications and other sectors. It is used as a hardening material in cutting tools and in steel production. It is added to refine WC and cemented carbide crystals to improve alloy properties by quantifiable measures.
