Mikro-Bornitrid (BN) Powder 500μm Description
Mikro-Bornitrid (BN) 500μm is a crystal composed of nitrogen and boron atoms. It appears as a white powder with a loose texture. The powder slightly absorbs moisture and provides lubrication. It is also known as "white graphite". The coefficient of thermal expansion of hexagonal boron nitride is the same as that of quartz; however, its thermal conductivity is 10 times that of quartz. The material lubricates at high temperatures. It is employed as a high-temperature solid lubricant, exhibits strong neutron absorption, and maintains stable chemical properties. Its chemical inertness remains when in contact with nearly all molten metals.
