Mikro-Bornitrid (BN) Powder 1000μm Description
Mikro-Bornitrid (BN) 1000μm (CAS: 10043-11-5) is a crystal composed of nitrogen and boron atoms. It is a white powder with a loose consistency. It provides lubricating properties and absorbs small quantities of moisture. It is sometimes designated as "white graphite". The thermal expansion coefficient of hexagonal BN is equivalent to that of quartz. However, its thermal conductivity is 10 times higher than that of quartz. It is applied as a fixed lubricant at high temperatures. It has a strong neutron absorption capacity. Its chemical properties are stable, and it is chemically inert to nearly all molten metals.
