Mikro-Wolfram(W)-Pulver Description
Mikro-Wolfram(W)-Pulver is characterised by high purity, a fine particle size, low apparent density, uniform particles, high reactivity, a large specific surface area and an extremely low oxygen content after the powder has been treated with inert gas. It disperses easily and is used in industry; it is currently employed in alloys for the aerospace sector, alloys for electronic packaging, electrode materials, microelectronic films, sintering aids, protective coatings, gas sensor electrodes, etc.

Applications of Mikro-Wolfram(W)-Pulver
1–10µm: Metal injection moulding (MIM) additive; porous tungsten cathode emitter feedstock;
5–25µm: Selective Laser Melting (SLM) process; CT machine X; suspected radiation augmented grid (ASG); thermonuclear fusion reactor divertor heat sink;
15–45µm: Laser Melting Deposition (LMD) technology; additive manufacturing of tungsten alloy with high specific weight for specially shaped parts.
