Description:
The nitrogen production method using adsorption processes in nitrogen generators is applied in industrial installations for the production of high-purity nitrogen. The principle of the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator is based on the differing adsorption rates of the carbon molecular sieve for various gas mixture components. Under defined pressure conditions, the carbon molecular sieve adsorbs oxygen and releases nitrogen, thereafter expelling the oxygen into the ambient air while collecting the nitrogen. By repeating this procedure, nitrogen with a purity of 99.99% is generated.
