Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Pulver (CAS: 7757-93-9) is a white, monoclinic, crystalline powder that is odourless and flavourless. It is soluble in diluted hydrochloric acid, diluted nitric acid and acetic acid; it is slightly soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. The chemical formula of this inorganic substance is CaHPO4.
Calciumhydrogenphosphat-Pulver is employed as an enrichment and leavening agent and as a means to enhance the quality of fermented noodle products. It is also used as an additive in animal feed to supply phosphorus and calcium.
