This composite delivers outstanding mechanical robustness: its tensile strength typically exceeds 300 MPa, flexural strength surpasses 340 MPa, and Charpy impact strength reaches approximately 42 kJ/m². Compressive strength perpendicular to the laminate also remains high, making it suitable for structural applications in electrical machinery.

Electrically, it maintains excellent insulation even under wet conditions and when immersed in transformer oil. Dielectric strength in 90 °C transformer oil is above 14 MV/m, and the breakdown voltage exceeds 35 kV. Surface insulation resistance after water immersion remains above 5 × 10^8 Ω, and the dielectric constant stays low (≤ 5.5 at 1 MHz) with a dissipation factor below 0.04. The comparative tracking index typically exceeds 200, ensuring resistance to electrical tracking across the surface.
