Polyimide Resin (ZTS-PI-III) is a specialty thermosetting polyimide resin known for its high heat resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and strong resistance to deformation under pressure. It offers good processability and can be modified by blending with additives such as graphite powder, carbon black, glass fiber powder, ceramic powder, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, metal powders, molybdenum disulfide powder, and microwave-absorbing materials. This versatility enables the production of various mechanical parts including bearings, valves, seals, gears, pipes, sheets, rods, and radar-absorbing stealth materials.

Manufacturing Process

ZTS-PI-III Pressing Process:

1.         Initial Heating & Loading: Heat the press to 390 °C. Load the mold with material and place it into the press. Apply 100 kN pressure and hold for 1 to 1.5 hours.

2.         High-Pressure Pressing: Increase pressure to 400–500 kN, maintain temperature and pressure for 1 hour.

3.         Cooling & Pressure Release: Air-cool the press down to 230 °C, then release pressure and demold.

4.         Final Cooling: Allow the mold to cool to room temperature before removing the finished product.
