Crucibles made of pyrolytic graphite consist primarily of clay. They contain medium-sized grains. This composition permits controlled heating experiments. Stanford Advanced Materials supplies crucibles manufactured from both coated and whole pyrolytic graphite. We can deliver melting crucibles with volumes ranging from 1 to 200 ml for whole pyrolytic graphite material, and for coated products, larger dimensions are available. The maximum available size for PG coated products measures 350 mm by 600 mm.
