Silver is a metal with low hardness and a reflective surface. When exposed to ambient air, silver tarnishes gradually. Sulphur compounds react with the metal surface. Black silver sulphide is formed by these reactions.
Silver (Ag) Evaporation Materials
Purity: ≥99,9%
This collection comprises silver evaporation materials designed for the controlled deposition of thin films in a range of applications. Each item has been developed to meet defined process parameters.
Silver Pellets and Granulates: These materials have been developed for use in thermal evaporation processes. They facilitate controlled deposition in electronics, optics and decorative coatings.
Silver Wire: This evaporation material is employed in both thermal and electron beam evaporation techniques. Its controlled evaporation produces thin films that meet specified thickness and density criteria.
Silver Sputtering Targets: These targets are designed for Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) processes. They enable deposition that complies with set uniformity criteria in electronics, optics and other applications.
Purity and Precision: Our materials enable precise control over thin film deposition, thereby ensuring uniformity and reproducibility.
Quality Assurance: Each material undergoes rigorous quality control, thereby ensuring that products meet specified criteria for purity, performance and reliability.
Technical Expertise: Supported by experts in thin film deposition, our technical support assists with material selection and deposition methods.
Versatility and Performance: Our silver evaporation materials are applicable across multiple processes and satisfy different deposition requirements.
Global Reach: Our products are distributed internationally via an established network, thereby ensuring delivery according to scheduled timelines and accessible customer support.
Electronics: Use silver evaporation materials for thin film deposition in electronic components such as connections, electrodes and semiconductors.
Optics and Coatings: These materials are applied in optical coatings that meet defined specifications for reflectivity, transmission and anti-reflection.
Decorative Coatings: Employ silver evaporation materials in decorative coatings for jewellery, watch components and architectural elements.
