MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (Gas-atomized) Description
MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (Gas-atomized) is a torus-shaped magnetic material that is produced from a mixture of several alloy powders. The powder is dispersed using air gaps in order to concentrate the magnetic flux and reduce the core losses. The core produced from MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (Gas-atomized) exhibits the lowest core losses among the available magnetic powder cores. Its permeability ranges between 14 and 550. The ring-core powder is used in the manufacture of a subset of microelectronic components, namely inductors, transformers and electronic filters.

MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (gas-atomised) Application
MPP Molypermalloy Powder was developed by the Western Electric Company and Bell Telephone Laboratory (formerly AT&T) in the early 1940s to produce cores. Its development allowed operation at a higher frequency, thereby reducing weight and achieving a more compact design in computer systems.
MPP cores made from Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (gas-atomised) are mainly used in chokes that require a core with a higher saturation level while maintaining other precise magnetic properties. A standard MPP core reaches saturation at approximately 0.75 Tesla, compared with about 0.45 Tesla for a ferrite core. Molypermalloy powder cores are utilised in the production of return transformers, resonance circuits, quartz filters, charging coils, chokes, pulse transformers and various industrial and military circuits.
MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder (gas-atomised) Packaging
The MPP Molypermalloy FeNiMo Powder is stored and transported under controlled conditions in order to maintain the quality of the product in its as-manufactured state.
