Tantal-Niob Sheets and Plates Description
Tantal-Niob Sheets and Plates are used based on defined engineering properties and diversified applications. These flat forms offer high corrosion resistance, which is required in harsh environments such as chemical processing and the maritime industry. They have a high melting point and effective thermal conductivity, thereby operating within specified temperature ranges. Their ductility and formability allow the manufacture of complex shapes and enable usage in structural and decorative functions. Tantal-Niob Sheets and Plates also possess measured electrical conductivity, which is utilised in the electronics and semiconductor manufacturing sectors.

Tantal-Niob Sheets and Plates Applications
1. Chemical Processing: They are used in the design of vessels, tanks and piping systems for handling corrosive chemicals.
2. Electronics: They are utilised in electronic components, printed circuit boards and connectors given their measured electrical conductivity.
3. Aerospace: They are employed in aircraft and spacecraft manufacturing for structural components, thermal shields and insulation. Given that they exhibit low weight and high temperature resistance, they meet design criteria.
4. Medical Devices: They are implemented in implants, prostheses and surgical instruments due to their biocompatibility and resistance to bodily fluids.
5. Energy Generation: They are used in fuel cell components, electrodes and heat exchangers owing to their corrosion and high-temperature resistance.
6. Semiconductor Manufacturing: They are applied in the production of semiconductor wafers, thin-film transistors and solar cells because of their high purity and thermal stability.
7. Defence: They are incorporated in armour plating, vehicle components and military equipment as they comply with durability and impact resistance specifications.
