Tantal Powder for Capacitor Applications (20V-60V) Description
Tantal is an effective electrical conductor that remains stable, is corrosion‐resistant and tolerates high temperatures. It is therefore used in electronic devices and within the electronics industry. Although Tantal is not classified as a noble metal, its chemical stability is comparable to that of noble metals. In addition, it can be processed at temperatures well below ambient. The Tantal powder provided by Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) meets capacitor grade specifications (20V–60V) and, owing to its high purity and defined properties, fulfils many tasks within the calibrated voltage range.
