Transparent Spinel Tube (transparent magnesium-aluminium ceramic) has numerous applications in optics, electronics and structural components.

Transparent Spinel Tube can be utilised for the fabrication of windows and lenses in the visible to mid-infrared spectrum. The theoretical transmittance from 3 to 5 μm is approximately 87%, comparable to ALON and sapphire, with the cutoff wavelength being slightly longer than both, particularly in the functionality of imaging systems in the mid-infrared range.

The properties of transparent ceramic spinel and aluminium oxide are comparable. It is suitable for various circuit components such as thick-film circuits, thin-film circuits, substrates for integrated circuits and chip packaging, as well as other high-performance substrate materials.
