VCrTaW High Entropy Alloy Powder Description

VCrTaW High Entropy Alloy Powder is a fine and homogeneous refractory powder material with high strength, good ductility, thermal stability and corrosion resistance. It contains 2 refractory elements: Tantalum and Tungsten, which increase the maximum working temperature of the alloy up to 1,600℃. Refractory metals easily oxidise when in contact with O2 at high temperatures. The addition of Chromium can protect this HEA from severe oxidation by forming a Cr2O3 surface layer.
