Zirconium alloys are used to manufacture superconducting magnets for medical MRI systems and NMR systems for applications in analytical chemistry. The most common alloying components are zirconium, titanium and hafnium, which dissolve readily during arc melting.
Niobium Zirconium Alloy, Magnesium Zirconium Alloy, Zirconium Ferro-Silicon Alloy, Zirconium Titanium Alloy,
Forms: foil/band, sheet/plate, tube/tubing, bar/rod, wire, disc.
Our collection of zirconium alloys has been assembled after systematic evaluation. Each alloy has been developed to improve industrial processes, support technological progress and utilise the distinct characteristics of these materials.
Niobium Zirconium Alloy: This alloy exhibits high temperature stability and corrosion resistance. It is applied in aerospace, nuclear reactors and chemical processing.
Magnesium Zirconium Alloy: This alloy offers a balance between minimal weight and corrosion resistance. It is used in aerospace components, automotive parts and structural applications.
Zirconium Ferro-Silicon Alloy: This alloy combines zirconium with silicon and iron to improve mechanical and thermal properties. It is employed in alloy production and steelmaking.
Zirconium Titanium Alloy: This alloy provides increased strength and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. It is used in aerospace engine components, gas turbines and high-temperature applications.
