Zirconium Pipe Fittings Description
Zirconium (Zr) is a silvery metal with a density of 6.52 g/cm³. Zr exhibits a very low neutron absorption cross‐section and a relatively high melting point (1855 °C or 3371 °F), which makes it a suitable material for nuclear fuel rods. Zirconium metal and its alloys offer advantages in specified chemical environments, particularly in acetic acid and hydrochloric acid. The corrosion resistance of zirconium is related to an adherent oxide that forms almost immediately.
Zirconium products are widely used in medical technology, for example in zirconium implants. Since zirconium sheets retain greater mechanical strength at elevated temperatures, they are used as supports and structural components for high-temperature applications.
Zirconium Pipe Fittings (Zr Pipe Fittings) can be purchased from Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM). SAM has over twenty years of experience in manufacturing and selling zirconium products and offers zirconium pipe fittings at a competitive price.

Applications of Zirconium Pipe Fittings
1. Chemical Industry: In chemical production processes where highly corrosive chemicals are handled, zirconium pipe fittings are used for connecting chemical reactors, piping systems and storage vessels.
2. Nuclear Energy Industry: Zirconium alloys are a key material for fuel rods in nuclear reactors. In the nuclear energy sector, zirconium pipe components are utilised for the connection and housing of fuel rods and other components within reactors.
3. Medical Devices: Owing to its biocompatibility and corrosion resistance, zirconium metal is used in the manufacture of medical devices. Zirconium pipe fittings can be employed in the production of medical gas pipelines, drug delivery systems and related applications.
4. Shipbuilding: Given that zirconium exhibits resistance to seawater corrosion, it is used in marine engineering, for instance in offshore oil platforms and desalination plants.
5. Petrochemistry: In petrochemical production, zirconium pipe fittings are used for connecting and supporting various piping systems, particularly in environments with high temperatures, high pressures or corrosive media.
Features of Zirconium Pipe Fittings
Zirconium Pipe Fittings (Zr Pipe Fittings) provide corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and thermal conduction properties, and are therefore suitable as corrosion-resistant construction materials.
Packaging of Zirconium Pipe Fittings
Our zirconium pipe fittings are carefully packaged to avoid damage during storage and transport, thereby preserving the quality of the products in their original state.
