Zirconium Dioxide Rods & Zirconium Dioxide Tubes Description
Zirconium dioxide rods and zirconium dioxide tubes are available from Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM). ZrO2 ceramic tubes and rods exhibit a Rockwell hardness (R45N of 78), verified wear resistance, chemical inertness and the capacity to operate at elevated temperatures, as evidenced by testing up to 2 400℃.
Zirconium dioxide rods and tubes are manufactured from ZrO2 ceramic. Zirconium dioxide withstands temperatures up to 2 200℃ and maintains chemical inertness and corrosion resistance at these temperatures. Its cubic crystal structure minimises crack initiation and mechanical weakening during thermal cycling.
