Precious Metal Wire

A precious metal is a naturally occurring metallic chemical element with established market value. Precious metals exhibit lower chemical reactivity than most other elements (see precious metal). They are malleable and have lustrous surfaces. Historically, precious metals served as currency reserves; presently, they are used as investment and commercial assets. Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium each possess an ISO 4217 foreign exchange code.
