Gas Flow Control and Vacuum Valve

• A 16L/min water chiller is installed at the base of the furnace to cool the sealing flange of the furnace (CE certified only).

Application Notes

• For enhanced longevity of the furnace, it is recommended that the heating rate does not exceed 5 ℃ /min.
• The cooling rate should also not exceed 5 ℃ /min.
• Fine cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramic with prolonged use. This is a normal occurrence, and the cracks can be repaired using a clay coating.
• The refractory block must be inserted before closing the door.
• Warning! For safe operation, a two-stage pressure regulator must be installed on the gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI.

Warning

• CAUTION: Damage caused by the use of corrosive and acidic gases is not covered under the one-year limited SAM warranty.
• To avoid oxidation/corrosion damage to the Mo heating elements, a constant inert gas flow (preferably Argon) must be maintained throughout the entire process. This is the most effective method to eliminate any by-products.
