Self-flowing/melting Alloy Powder HRNi35 Description
The self-flowing/melting nickel-based alloy powder HRNi35 can be used in situations where the component may deform due to melting after coating or where the substrate cannot withstand the heat produced during the melting process. Self-flowing/melting materials partially melt during the spraying process, thereby eliminating the need for a subsequent melting step.

Self-flowing/melting Alloy Powder HRNi35 Applications
- Flame spraying/melting
- Glass moulding
- Various casting methods
These self-melting nickel-based alloy powders are intended for dual-stage spray/melt metallising of iron components, given that an improved corrosion and/or wear resistance is required. They can be applied to parts and components fabricated from carbon steel, alloy and stainless steels, cast iron, Monel, nickel and cobalt alloys. They cannot be applied to brass, bronze or aluminium and may require specific precautions if used on some other alloys. Depending on the selected grade, a coating hardness between HRC 33 and 65 is achieved.
