Description of Self‑Fluxing/Melting Alloy Powder HRNi37A
The nickel‑based self‑fluxing/melting alloy powder HRNi37A is used in cases where post‑melting may deform the component or where the substrate cannot withstand the heat generated by the melting process. These materials partially fuse during the spraying process, thereby eliminating the need for an additional melting step after coating.

Applications of Self‑Fluxing/Melting Alloy Powder HRNi37A
- Flame Spraying/Melting
- Glass Moulding
- Various Casting Moulds
These self‑melting nickel‑based alloy powders are designed for a two‑stage spray and melting metallising treatment of ferrous components that require enhanced resistance to corrosion and/or wear. They are applied to parts made from carbon steel, alloy and stainless steels, cast iron, Monel, nickel and cobalt alloys. They should not be applied to brass, bronze or aluminium, and specific precautionary measures may be necessary when used on certain other alloys. Depending on the selected grade, the coating hardness achieved ranges from HRC 33 to HRC 65.
