Self-fusing/melting Alloy Powder HRNi55A Description
HRNi55A is a self-fusing/melting nickel-based alloy powder. It can be used when post-process melting may deform the component or when the substrate does not tolerate the heat of the melting process. The self-fusing/melting materials partially melt during the spraying process, thereby eliminating the need for a subsequent melting process after coating.

Self-fusing/melting Alloy Powder HRNi55A Applications
- Flame spraying/melting
- HVOF
- Surface sealing
- Oil pistons and shafts, etc.
These self-melting nickel-based alloy powders are intended for two-stage spraying/melting of metal surfaces on iron components. They apply to parts and components made from carbon steel, alloyed and stainless steels, cast iron, Monel, nickel and cobalt alloys. They should not be applied to brass, bronze or aluminium and may require special precautions when used on other alloys. The coating hardness depends on the chosen grade and ranges from HRC 33 to HRC 65.
