Self-flowing/melting alloy powder HRNi65A Description
The self-flowing/melting alloy powder on a nickel basis, HRNi65A, may be used in situations where the component might be deformed as a result of melting following the coating or where the substrate cannot withstand the heat of the melting process. The self-flowing/melting materials partially fuse during the spraying process, thereby eliminating the requirement for an additional melting procedure after coating.

Applications of self-flowing/melting alloy powder HRNi65A
- Flame spraying/melting
- HVOF
- Wire roll
- Plunger
- Conveyor roll, etc.
These self-flowing nickel-based alloy powders are intended for the two-stage spraying/melting of metal surfaces on iron parts, where enhanced corrosion resistance and/or wear resistance is required. They can be applied on parts and components produced from carbon steel, alloyed and stainless steels, cast iron, Monel, nickel and cobalt alloys. They should not be applied on brass, bronze or aluminium and may require special precautions when used on some other alloys. Depending on the selected grade, a coating hardness of HRC 33 to 65 is achieved.
