Spherical H13 Steel Powder Description
H13 tool steel is utilised in the production of forging dies subject to high impact loads, warm flow pressing dies, precision forging dies and tooling for the pressure die‐casting of aluminium, copper and their alloys. H13 exhibits measurable machining and polishing characteristics, quantifiable toughness and ductility, defined wear resistance at elevated temperatures, consistent hardenability and calibrated high‐temperature strength along with thermal fatigue resistance. Consequently, distortion during heat treatment remains low and the formation of iron oxide scale during air quenching is minimal.
The powder can be used in various metal 3D printers, including Renishaw, EOS, ConceptLaser, SLM, 3Dsystems, Arcam and others.
