Al-Diamant MMC Description
Aluminium-Diamond Metal Matrix Composites (Al-Diamant MMC) are composite materials that use a metal base with diamond reinforcement. They are produced by adding diamond particles with high thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion into an aluminium matrix that exhibits good thermal conduction. The composite provides controlled thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity, which supports its application in thermal management.

It is used mainly in technical equipment. This equipment includes high-performance bipolar transistors with insulated gate (IGBT), microwave devices, electromagnetic devices and optoelectronic devices. It is also used in phased-array radar systems and in high-energy solid-state lasers.
