Instructions for Use

• Activation before use

Load the deoxygenation catalyst into the reactor and purge the system with inert gas to eliminate any air.

Introduce pure nitrogen or other inert gases with a space velocity of 150-300 h^-1 while simultaneously heating the reactor. Gradually increase the temperature of the deoxygenation medium to 420-450°C and maintain this temperature for 1 hour.

Introduce a nitrogen-hydrogen mixture containing 10-20% hydrogen with a space velocity of 150-300 h^-1. Due to heating and the supply of hydrogen, steam will be expelled from the vent. The activation process proceeds layer by layer along the flow direction of the air. Once the activated layer moves from one end to the other and no steam exits from the outlet, the activation is nearly complete. At this point, cease heating, close the hydrogen supply, and maintain a small flow of nitrogen. After adequately purging the system, the deoxygenation device is ready for deoxygenation.

If the deoxygenation medium needs to be stored, introduce a low flow of nitrogen and allow the system to cool naturally. Once the reactor temperature approaches room temperature, close the nitrogen gas and vent valves and store the system.

• Deoxygenation Purification

Once the activation is complete, the system is operational. Introduce the gas to be purified, and the deoxygenator begins deoxygenation.

• Regeneration of the deoxygenation medium

Once the deoxygenation medium is saturated with oxygen, switch to the regeneration process. Regeneration takes place following the same procedure as activation.

Note:

Activated or regenerated deoxygenation media must not be exposed to air or come into contact with large amounts of oxygen, as this will affect the service life of the deoxygenation medium.
